Ht Guys,

I am off to the PRR convention today. Yes it is the once a year gathering of
the SPFs to worship the mighty PRR. We are riding the Pennsylvanian on the
former PRR mainline and getting off at a former PRR station in Greensburg
PA, a bit east of Pittsburgh. I don’t think I could have fit more PRR into
that sentence. We typically get 300+ to every convention. We will be
immersed for 4 days in all things Pennsylvania Railroad, PRR, and of course
the Mighty Pennsy. If only it could be like that every day! Don’t you ALL
agree? (:->) I think you get the idea...

I hope to see the Frank Lloyd Wright house Falligwater
http://www.paconserve.org/index-fw1.asp even though the tour I want is a
chunky $50.00!

Thanks to Norman for filling the group in on Wawa. What started with the
Wawa Dairy is now a very large chain of convenience stores in this area.
They are everywhere here.

I was not aware that Wawa was a manufacturer or style of water tower. As
previously mentioned the entire involvement I had with my Wawa Tower was
buying it and giving it to my good friend Gus Minardi to complete and finish
it. Gus' work had graced us here a few times before when he was on a truck
building spree using the old S Scale Aurora kits. No he is NOT doing it any
more though....

BTW there is a joke in my area about Wawa. If you are ever pulled over for a
possible DWI check and the inquiring officer asks where you were going, just
blurt out Wawa. If you cannot successfully articulate Wawa after the second
or third try then perhaps you should have not been driving!

Thank You,
Bill Lane
