I've had some on order from the hobby shop for several months. They don't
seem to be able to get S in either brand. Both state they are currently out
and waiting to restock, at least that's what the LHS tells me. I ended up
using model airplane spruce strips chopped to appropriate length for my
switch ties. My LHS gave me 10% discount on my purchase.

Subject: TIES : Kappler or Mt. Albert?

Looking for opinions (or facts) about the cross-ties offered by
<http://www.kapplerusa.com/y2k/p-s-scale.htm> Kappler and Mt. Albert
<http://www.mtalbert.com/lumber/bulks24.html> ... how do the products
compare to each other? Anyone got any good or bad reports about dealings
with either of these sources?

Kappler : http://www.kapplerusa.com/y2k/p-s-scale.htm

Mt. Albert : http://www.mtalbert.com/lumber/bulks24.html
