Michael...This manufacturer is searching for a prototype freight car
that is appealing to both the "transition era" modeler and the so-called
"modern era" modeler.  Thus, he is attempting to determine exactly where
the fine line is between the two and how much overlap might be
tolerable.  Comments on this question would be helpful to him (he
lurks).  If you really want 1925 equipment, why not vote for the
earliest possible date (1940) and see what happens next.  Cheers...Ed L.
