   Hi Ed,  Most "modern era" modelers can use cars from the 60s and
newer so if the transition era modelers all moved up a few years we
could all get what we want. 
  If any manufacturers are really listening the single most needed car
is a 57 foot mechanical reefer. How about it Weaver? Time to get into
S scale!
