Gerry,

I did not know that either! Excellent information :)

This list is a real storehouse of knowledge.

I recall the bad old days when one had to sift through issue after issue of
lots of model railroad magazines to get one small tidbit of information.
Now, a guy (or gal) can find out just about anything S or train related in a
few minutes or at most a few hours. And usually with options!

Amazing...

BUTCH:
The answer to your question is "it depends." If you are planning to build a
station that uses normal brick-on-brick construction, as opposed to some
design variation such as brick-on-brick with alternating brick-on-end, then
"yes" the plastic sheets do exist. Plastruct has styrene brick sheet that
they list as HO/1:100. Not! Buy some, and get your calipers out. You will
find the bricks are almost perfectly 1:64. See my article in the "S Gaugian"
from about two years-ago on the Stone Avenue Station construction.

Subject: {S-Scale List} S Scale Bricks

I want to scratchbuild a particular station and wondered where to find
S Scale plastic brick (sheets) that have the proper dimensions? If none
are available in S Scale are there any HO or O sheets that are close to
the right dimensions?

Thanks,
