I don't own vintage AF equipment now. I went scale early on and don't plan on going back, my choice and niche in the wonder scale of S. I don't oppose a dual capable turnout either, since it can't do anything but help the number of people coming into S gauge/scale modeling. That is the reason I didn't mention it. I hope you find what you are calling for in a dual capable turnout. I watch the marriage of the tinplate, high rail/scale and scale in O. The middle rail sure throws a monkey wrench into the gears.
