I have no problem with NJ crossing gate operation.
 
Look good and operate well.

        I do think the NJI crossing gates LOOK very nice. It is just
their 
        operation that is lousy. Lehigh Valley Models also makes a
crossing 
        gate kit that can be made operational with some effort. But it
is 
        not operational in an RTR sense.
        
        Operating semaphores are made by TOMAR in HO. With a longer
mast, 
        they can pass as S. He built some for me with a 36% longer mast
and 
        I am happy with them. I believe the blade is a bit oversize for
HO. 
        Probably not exactly correct for S either, but it is close
enough for 
        my loose modeling standards. With a special order for a longer
mast, 
        you should expect to wait 4-6 weeks to receive them.
