Tom must be referring to me. Here is what I sent to him -- privately. But
since he has chosen to disparage my comments in public, here is the text of my
message to him:
"Tom --
You will recall that we had an e-mail exchange some time ago. It ended when I
told you that I didn't understand how your turnouts could accommodate both
scale and hirail equipment, given that the frog contains no movable components
(or something like that). I told you that I would be most interested in seeing
a sample, or in your furnishing dimensional data that I could look at. The
result: I heard nothing more from you.
So now I am re-opening that same offer. Send me a sample with the "insert" and
I will test it. Then I will send it back to you.
Whether or not you send me a turnout so equipped, I will publish my turnout
reviews in the NASG Dispatch. I will of course base my review of Tom's
Turnouts on the latest sample I receive.
