I would like to pipe in old
radio broadcasts of ballgames into my layout room as ambient sound
during op sessions.

"S"peaking of '50s ambiance, that is one heckuva cool idea -- and the
mighty NYC could use that concept to good advantage. Can you educate us
on where to find CDs (or tapes?) of the Mickey Mantle era (NY Yankess,
what else?). This would be something even all those die-hard HO guys
have not thought of -- at least not around here. One guy has WWII music
piped in whenever his military train makes the rounds. But baseball
games are a really great idea to foster the feeling of the time period.
Where can I get some?

Thanks....Ed L.
Modeling the mighty NYC sometime in the late '40s to early '50s except
for the P2b which came afterwards (mid-to-late '50s) but I don't care
'cause I like it so much.
