Try it guys. Set up a little experiment and see what happens. It
works for me very well. By pre-wetting with soapy water, then applying
the white glue at about 50%, I don't experience any floating or
distortion. I dry it with a fan. Only problem I've ever seen is if it
is applied very thickly, there can be some cracking which can be
repaired with a little more ballast glued down over top.
