Agree.  I was only out to capture the "feel" of Colo 1890s narrow gauge. 
Love the "cheap" part of current On30.  However, with diecast MMI stuff and 
$300+ Bachman releases... it ain't gonna' be cheap much longer.

Yes. That was the direction I first went when I decided to give 1890s Colo 
NG a whirl.  Turned out to be way too labor intensive and expensive... in 
addition to not gaining much "mass" over HO standard gauge.

Well... that's one solution.  I'm just concerned that I don't have enough 
modeling "ooomph" left in me to tackle two layout projects.
