"Funny Andre, but for a scale where nothing is available I counted my
S scale cars today and I've already got 40 and I haven't even decided
if I'm gonna model in S scale yet!...dave"

Well, I've been at it since 1962 and I just went to my Excel and it tells me
that I have 192 pieces. That includes Locomotives and kits. It also tells me
that I have 26 kits to build.

When I get a moment, I would like to report a complete breakdown of my
equipmnet. But, as Bill Winans said, I need more space on my layout, hopefully
more mainline, but basically it means more yard!

My seven year old grandson was in from California and he loves to run the
trains. We were running an 18 car coal hauler, triple heading with three AM
GP7's and 18's, plus a caboose. (A very big "Black Snake!") Nicholas asked to
bring out a freight train that was sitting in the staging yard waiting for
permission to run the mainline. This train was headed up with two AM Train
Masters. We pulled it out, then later moved the freight over to the coal train
and ran a 31 car train.
"Grand Pa Bill, does that set a new record?" "Yep! It sure does! "

Gotta love those grand children, and I sure do miss him.
You should have seen his eyes pop when I told him that all of this was his
someday.
I told him that there will be plenty of S Gaugers out there to help him, when
that times comes around.

Have a good day,
Love you all,
Bill

Hey! We had a great S Scale Yahoo Seminar in Baltimore, didn't we!
Many thanks to our guest speakers Don Thompson and Ken Zieska, plus a surprise
or two!
See the report in the Dispatch!
