Many years ago we used MV lenses with a hole drilled into the back and
a fiber optic cable epoxied into the hole. The light was conducted
into the lens body through the cable. Due to the shape of the back of
the MV lens and the reflective coating the lens would cast a beam of
light out the front similar to a sealed beam headlight. I haven't
tried one of the CA type adhesives but think it might work. Good luck.
