Bill,
        The photo shows a CNJ freight house in the Bronx in 1944.  The  
entire rail operation is shown in the photo.  I don't think it  
connected with any other track.  Cars were fed in by carfloat.  I  
think you can see the float bridge in the background.  In case you  
didn't notice, the circle tack around the building is double track!   
Notice also that the two most prominent cars shown are a PRR X29 and  
a B&O roundroof (M-53?)  Both available in S scale brass, or at least  
the roundroof is. ;~) I suggested to Don T. that he use this for an  
SHS display layout.  By my rough math the entire thing would fit on a  
4' by 8'.  My copy of the photo is in the book "Where Rails Meet the  
Sea".  It's about twice the size of yours.  I'll bring it to the Get  
Together if you want.
