Hi George, K-Line's model is an old O27 Marx hopper while AM's is scale. Even the AF people I've talked to feel that the K-Line was borderline too big. It seemed to be about 2 scale feet too wide IIRC. Height and length are flexible depending on era and size of car you want to represent. The cast on grab irons and such were over sized so that and the width kept me from buying one. The trucks look like they were SHS Bettendorf trucks, probably the best looking part on the whole car, again my opinion.
