The Grandt ice hatches are very well done. They used to be supplied
with the Scenery remakes of the old Kinsman cars. What I'm not sure of
is their prototype. Other alternatives would be the old Stewart (now
Huff and Puff) hatches that come in two styles at least. If one were to
update the roof you could replace it with the Pacific Rail roof and
hatches. Again I don't have a clue if it's half way prototypical to do
so. Unfortunately a repaint of the roof will probably be necessary.
