Folks....After receiving numerous queries about the e-quake last night, I am
happy to report that the mighty NYC survived without damage. Not even a
derailment while a way freight trundled down the Hudson River at about 8:00
PM yesterday evening. I was wondering how Don Thompson built in that rumble
that made the ground shake as SHS's 2-8-0 ran past. But it wasn't Don or
the Tsunami, it was Mother Nature. A most realistic effect -- just like a
real earthquake. So not to worry, the PRR still has a competitor to worry
about. Two-tone gray will carry on. Cheers...Ed L.
