Hi Bob and All --
I found that Pledge furniture polish will fill any scratches and keep Lexan
and other plastics clear. It even worked on my Corvette's convertible top
window!
Have fun!

Last weekend yours truly with the advice of one of our newer members
installed clear side
guards along some critical layout edges. I obtained some thin GE Lexon
that the plastics store cut for me. This stuff is great to work
with--it drills, screws and cuts much better than Plexiglas. I was able
to form it into a curved radii about 12" in diameter very easily. It is
also super clear so you can hardly see it. I paid less than $40 for
about one half sheet cut to my specs. Now only time will tell if it
will withstand being scratched easily. I do know that standard plex can
get pretty nasty after awhile.
