I don't hate the NMRA at all.  If it wasn't for them shutting down the 
manufacturer's hall in the 2003 Toronto Convention because of the SARS 
scare, the Canadian Association of Model Railroaders (CARM) would never have 
been started.  So, out of something potentially negative, a positive emerges.

The CARM recently sent out a poll as to what Canadian modellers want most in 
the way of models.  It was quite thorough and covered rolling stock, 
building types and motive power including eras.  It was well received and 
forwarded to the leading Canadian manufacturers.  Unfortunately, the largest 
number of respondents were HO of course and not really applicable to S.

Perhaps, given what Bill said, the NASG could include an all-inclusive mail-
in poll in the next Dispatch.  Online is okay but it does not reach everyone.
