My Friends,

For some months now, I've been after Ed Fillion of Deerfield River Laser to
recut some of his 1:48 boat kits in 1:64. The request has been answered with a
small tug and flat top rail barge!

Take a look at this message to the Deerfield River Yahoo group.

Go to Ed's website and/or his Yahoo group to see the pix.

Keep in touch!

Subject: [deerfieldriver] New S scale kits- tug & barge

Hi Group,

I know most of you are O scale modelers like I am. But we have a few
modelers that are into S scale and one has requested a rail barge for
his logging layout. It had to be short, just large enough for two log
cars. So we made a 52 foot barge set up for one Sn42 track. He also
wanted our tug boat pilot house done in S scale. We have that done also.

And while at the Portland Narrow Gauge convention, we hooked up with
Bruce at Seaport Model Works. He had a resin hull for his HO sardine
carrier that makes a 48 foot hull in S Scale. With that hull, we now
have the S scale tug as well as the pilot house available.

We'll have pricing in a day or so. If these kits do well we will expand
our line of S scale products.

By the way, the barge is available with a flat deck and makes a good O
scale scow, smaller than the barges we already have. In O scale it's a
40 X 16 ft barge, and in S scale its a 52 X 21 ft barge.

The pictures are in the S scale kits album.

Thanks for looking,
Ed Fillion, Deerfield River Laser
