Bud and all,
I am aware of the shrinkage as I mentioned the 4% in my original post.
After providing the trucks to the caster and he makes an assessment, he and
I will talk. Based on the number of responders, bolster fit, cost
estimates, available wheelsets, etc., I will make a decision whether or not
I want to risk it. Just for clarification purposes, I have no intention at
this time of being of being the dealer for the trucks! If it appears
feasable, I will foot the original cost of the molds....that will be my
risk! If all goes well, it will be incumbent upon the interested party to
purchase the trucks from the caster, whose name I will release at that
time. At present, I am just doing the reseach and coordination. Right
now, I'm interested in knowing serious numbers and buyers. As of today, I
have a response for nine sets!
Thanks,
Gary Chudzinski
