Scale magazine or not the thing that is keeping me motivated right now
is the big train show in Springfield Mass at the end of January. I've
always noticed the S "enclave" that gathers in one strategic area, but
this time I'll be spending some quality time there. I've already
bought my tickets from the Amherst club and have printed out the table
locations and vendor lists. This is going to be fun. Perhaps I'll get
to meet some of you folks there. I even told my wife not to get me
anything big for Christmas so I won't feel too guilty taking her to the
show and spending money on trains for her birthday :o)
The other event that has my interest is the S convention in Lowell
Mass. Should be interesting! And the best thing...I can drive to both!
I'm seriously thinking of building an S exibition layout to bring to
shows. I don't really think magazines do S scale justice anyway.
