John,

I use Micro Engineering code 83 and 70 for S standard gauge, code 70 and 55
for narrow gauge. Most standard gauge on my layout under construction will
be dual gauge and thus there is no real choice but to hand lay.

Subject: {S-Scale List} Popular Rail Codes in S scale (For Hand-Laying)

Apologies for the cross-posting, but this is an all-encompassing question...

Just curious... From the Flyer fans to the scale fans to the PROTO:64
fans...

For those of us who actually hand-lay our own rail, what are the most
popular "codes" and brands of rail used out there in S scale, today? (...
or maybe it would be easier to ask what codes of rail are NOT used in S)

Also, dosn't the SHS rail scale out to code 155? Or is it something
different?

And what is the code for the AM rail?

Thanks.
