OK Gentlemen, here's a puzzle for you. Look at the turnout in the
kozlowsky folder in the photos section at this address

I've completely isolated this turnout by cutting all wires and gapping
the rails. As you can see, at the frog end I've segregated the points
by cutting the rails to the frog. At the point end I've stripped all
the copper off of the tie bar. The stock rails are dead. If I use an
ohm meter to check continuity, the two point rails are shorted. I can
slightly bend the points downward so they make no contact with the
stock rails...the points are still shorted.
Can anyone offer a suggestion before I rip out this turnout and trash
it. I'm really stumped on this one.
