Rusty, I am sorry you got scammed. It happened to me twice. I know how it happened the first time. I was caught off guard and logged into an "upgrade to a Power Seller" thing. Very dumb on my part. I still have NO idea how it happened the second time. I caught them both right away since I all but live looking on eBay. It is a little tough getting your ID back. But eBay calls you on the phone in the middle of the process. It took about 1/2 hour.
My advice for even the casual eBayer is to download the eBay tool bar. The best feature is an icon that turns green for genuine eBay and PayPal pages. You will know instantly if you are being redirected to a scammer's page. Also make sure you have different passwords for your eBay account and the email address that you use for eBay. That is a must. Ask me how I know about that one too.... Rusty, I would not let the above deter you from selling on eBay. I really enjoy seeing your models that I would not normally see, even though you are selling them for some reason. I was just this week conversing with another S Scaler about your listings and the absolutely beautiful and difficult paint jobs you do.
