And this all came out of my research on Coal Gas! Now I am finding out that the coke from coke ovens needs to be dropped into quenching cars which are pushed by little locomotives into quenching towers to cool the hot coke. http://www.pullman-museum.org/cgi-bin/pvm/mainRecordDisplayXML.pl? recordid=11553 Then I can worry about transporting the cool coke somewhere off the layout! Unless someone will be building a steel mill! ha ha Having fun and avoiding work... Thanks to those who have commented about coke related topics! Don Yahoo!
