Hi Tom, group;

The point (as others have said) is that this group is "different". I'm on 50
Yahoo groups, a problem in it's own right, and this is the ONLY one to default
to the original sender instead of the group, and most of these groups have only
a few personal messages show up (usually followed by an apology). If most of
the others used the same defaults (or I posted mostly to S Scale) it would be
easier to remember. Do you really believe most S Scaler's are so much less
computer literate than all the folks in these other groups?

I can live with either option; if I haven't posted to this group in a while I
tend to forget and, guess what, I generally will not bother to repost unless I
can easily recover the text of message. BTW, I suspect some members who
preferred the status-quo are "dumb as a fox" and making their point without
arguing by sending the off-topic posts....

. . . . . . . . please change it back and from there on ignore further
requests to change it.

The neat thing about having it set to reply to sender only was that only
members with an IQ above room temperature were able to figure out how to
send a reply to the whole group, thus sparing us a lot of irrelevant stuff.

I'm on some groups where anyone who wants to send a personal message to
another individual member of the group just sends it to the whole group and
simply doesn't care that he has wasted the time and computer space of
others. Not good.
