With all due respect and while I don't consider the Gaugian to be a
definitive Scale publication, there are in fact articles of interest to the
scale modeler.

The most recent number, January/February 2008, mentions quite a few new S
Scale products in the S Briefs column and in S Product Reviews; there is
Rusty Westermeier's Scale Scene column; next is a four-page piece on "How I
Built My locomotive Service Facilities on the Southern Pacific Cascade
Line-Part II"; I got some good ideas from that one; Then the two hi-rail
layout tours look more scale than Flyer to me, and in fact If they would not
have told me, I would not have been able to tell from the photos that the
layouts weren't scale-except for a couple of Gilbert items pictured. And of
course there are many advertisers offering scale stuff.

I can't say that the price justifies a subscription just for scale content,
but to say that the S Gaugian is "All Flyer" is not exactly accurate. I
personally subscribe because I am one of those dreaded, cross-over
"Hi-Scalers... :)

Cheers :)

5 - the S-Guagian is a great magazine, but personally "flyer" does nothing
for me, I like "scale" and prototypically detailed models.
