Hi Guys, I've been watching and biting my tongue here for a while too. seems
a few are doing that.

As I see it, having been on board with Ben at the beginning, but fell off, due
to going through a divorce, and a few other life setbacks including disability
from auto accident and virtual homelessness.

1 - the name makes NO difference to subscribers, i.e s/sn3 or 1:64th MG.
Content and consistency does.

2 - apparently articles from several authors are sitting in the wings and not
used, which is not at all uncommon in the publishing world.

3 - Our scale has again taken a major hit in availability of 1/64th (accurately
scaled vehicles) due to ERTL - Racing Champions - Johnny Lightning mergers, but
many suitable models are still being produced by other manufactures.

4 - I am, and have been contemplating publication of a quarterly or semi-annual
publication for nearly 15 years, covering prototype 1/64th models. Major
emphasis on "S-scale" and S narrow gauge, but also content MUST INCLUDE
Tractors, Trucks, Autos, and construction equipment, buildings and scenery to
be viable. for some reason, collectors of this scale butt heads far too often,
over silly stuff. Isolationism Isolates absolutely. Just because some don't
want a column on trucks, doesn't mean it wouldn't be for the better of the
publication or scale as a whole.

5 - the S-Guagian is a great magazine, but personally "flyer" does nothing for
me, I like "scale" and prototypically detailed models.

6 - An Internet magazine is NOT the answer, not to say net exposure and
partial content is a bad idea, but too many people want it in "print" myself
included, even if it is in a newsletter format. Fancy paper with poorly done
ckym printing is not needed, just adds more production time and costs.

sincerely, Martin Johnson - Rush City, MN
