Pieter, I have not updated my website, but I am now making the drives available separate from the body kit. I will be paling an order this week. If anyone else is interested in a drive or complete kit please contact me off list ASAP.

Following Jeff's generous offer, (and it is generous, his web site says the drives are only available with the body kits to make a complete locomotive) I checked my Alco RS3 model (which is partly disassembled in its box). Initially the wheels would not turn, but when I opened the trucks I see no sign of metal deterioration. I was finally able to revolve the wheels and once the rather thick old grease started to soften they seemed to turn more smoothly. Could there be a batch that does NOT suffer the metal deterioration issues? In any case, I have an AM S-12 switcher that I hope to re-truck with the correct switcher trucks (Steam Depot drive, in hand). That would free up the AM AAR Road trucks for the RS3 should it be required. I will begin to budget for a Railmaster RS-1, however! Pieter Roos Yahoo!
