Some of us hold somthing other than trains as our highest good, and therefore 
judge the modern corporation of Disney by another standard.  This topic is 
really out of place on this list.

Some people on this list are not fans of Disney. That's a shame because we as 
model railroaders could learn a great deal from them. Especially in the way 
that they tell a story in the theme parks. They create the myth and play by its 
own rules which help support the myth. This in turn makes it believable because 
of its consistency. As model railroaders we need to practice to the same 
techniques to have believable layouts.

Let's also not forget John Olson a well known HOn3 guy was very much involved 
in developing Disney theme parks over the past twenty plus years. Disney 
himself was a live steamer and illustrator Ward Kimball was well known for his 
back yard steam railway. Look out they are in our midst!
