Hi Guys,

Bragdon was 1 of my early weathering weapons of choice. It is still a
favored product. It you Dullcoat over it, heavy weathering becomes light and
everything else all but disappears. That is somewhat the beauty of it. If
you overdue it or don’t like what you did, a little Dullcoat makes it all
better. It will wear off a bit if you handle the model improperly, but it
mostly stays intact.

I painted some O Scale Bob Parry (SP?) cars for Larry Sokal 15+ years ago.
That was 1 of the first times I used the Bragdon products. They turned out
really well IMHO. Larry LOVED them. I sent some photos of the cars to
Bragdon. At least 7 years later I was at a NMRA national train show. I was
wandering around not always noticing the company of the next table. I
noticed these tattered wrinkled vaguely familiar photos on the table of
stunningly well weathered PRR freight cars. Bragdon had MY photos on their
table for ALL those years since they were sent to them! I took that as a
compliment!

Thank You,
Bill Lane
