Um... uh... well...
...not so good.
Time/energy, mainly. The job I work at the railroad has gone from getting
early quits often (i.e. 5-6 hours for a paid day of 8 hours) to normally
doing 10-12 hrs per day with 11 or so being average. Thus, whereas I worked
35 hours a week and got paid for 40... I now work 55+ hours (or more if
called for the weekend). By the time I get home, it's nearly 8 PM... not
much evening left by the time you eat a bite, clean up, and then head off to
bed to start over again at 5:30 AM. Adding to this is the fact that since
Dad passed away May of last year, I'm now responsible for two households:
Mine and my widowed Mother. We're getting so much rain this year it's
unbelievable... so I'm having to mow one lawn or the other (or both) every
Saturday I can (rain permitting). Add in Church responsibilities on Sunday
and, well... something's got to give.
