Boy, you've probably hit the nail on the head right there, John!
To be sure, I still super enjoy looking at my S scale models sitting on the
layout waiting patiently (those SHS switchers are sooooo NICE)... but just
can't seem to get out the drill n' bits and wire and solder and toggles and
rotaries and the myriad of things needed to get the existing trackwork
functional.
