Guy's and gal's,
I'm turning 79 in November and I've just spent a lot of time detailing a large
part of my model railroad.

It all started last November when the Lehigh Valley gang came in and enlarged a
"Pop Up" that I could no longer get up through.
That remodeling caused me to re-detail all of that area, then onto Central
City.

As of this week, [ 7-6-08] I'm finally finishing the detailing on that area.
Now I ain't a Brooks Stover, I'm more of a Frank Titman modeler, "Hey! its my
model railroad type of guy! "
But I must admit, that area just dosen't look that bad now. (To me!)

Yet, I lost a lot of sleep over it! Almost to the point of taking the entire
layout down, boxing it up and saying, "Heck, I just can't do it any more!"
Just seems I couldn't get the area to look right, no-how! Then finally, one
evening, after adding telephone poles, vehicles, street lights , some figures
the area came alive and I'm finally satisfied.

You see, to remodel Central City, I had to craw under the layout every time and
come up through another "Pop-up" and after sixty some years of sports, the last
30 playing tennis, my knees just can't do it.

Well, now, thank heavens, I can get back to running trains and building models!
Yum, Yum!
Still some detailing but the hard work is done!

My advice to all is, don't build "Craw unders" and "Pop Ups!"

LOve and Hershey Kisses to all!
Bill Fraley
