Howdy Mark and all
I am well aware that cars like these roamed most all the roads; guess I
should have been more specific by saying a '1940-60s NYC fan', i.e, my
good friend Ed L, followed by a big happy face.
These cars are very significant to those needing mainline freight
equipment for standard gauge roads from 1870-1930. Those modeling after
1930 can still find use for the cars in MoW or captured service.
