Different email programs function differently.

Easy thing to do for single destination- private - emails is to click 
and copy the desired email address from the FROM line in the header, 
reply to the group post, and paste that specific email address in the TO 
line.

Now some email programs do not give you the complete address in the
header as if that will protect you from spammers.   You can go to the
yahoogroups web page and select members to send them a private email.
Here again, for your protection, Yahoo does not display the entire address.

Naturally, you can do as others have done... post a note to the group
with your address in the body asking the original poster to contact you
offline.   Make it easy for sending to you by putting your email address
like this....

mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]

That will make it a clickable link, at least in most email programs.
