I still don't understand what the problem was with the P Central thread.  When
I was modeling in On2 I used a standard turnout everywhere.  That made it very
easy to make the decision to buy a FastTracks fixture.  It was well designed
and easy to use.  I liked the fact that I could make up subassemblies ahead of
time when I wanted some mindless work to unwind.  When I got out of that
scale/gauge I sold the fixture on ebay for a good price to a guy from Honk Kong.

Ooookay...

Note to me, memo to me, do NOT bring up Penn Central on this group unless you
want to open a can of worms the size of the Pennsy's mainline rail! ;)

So, how about a change of subject. Fasttracks turnout making jigs. I've NEVER
handlaid track before (though I am learning slowly), and want to know if it is
worth my time to get a turnout jig and make my own turnouts or should I try to
scrounge some up from BK enterprises or dig up some old Pullman turnouts or
something.

Likewise, how many people here are freelancing versus prototype modeling? *idle
curiosity* It might be interesting to see who is modeling what, where, and if
we can make a transcontinental railroad using the settings for our model
railroads *yes, joking* ;)
