I was referring to the O-scale FEF-3. You are right: The Flyonel FEF-1 is OK 
but nothing to write home about.  It is a far remove from the Flyonel Mike.

I would have to respectfully disagree.  While the Flyonel FEF-1 (and it 
is a 1, not a 3) is a good reissue of the Flyer Classic, it is not in 
the same league as the contemporary Flyonel Mikes and Pacifics.  Now, 
if you're talking about Lionel's O Scale FEF-3, it is indeed a nice 
locomotive, but a tad large for S.  Maybe they'll shrink it one day.
