Hi Bob;

I have seen photos of the WP rib side cars published, probably in RMJ or the
old Model Railroading although River Raisin may have published one in the
Dispatch in an article when their rid side cars were released.

In HO, Model Die Casting made a run of rib sided cars in the WP paint for
Walthers.

OTOH, MDC also sold their round roof model in PRR, NP and even B&O paint
although the model most closely resembles the SAL "turtle back" car with the
AAR under frame and PS proprietary ends, so the "caviet emptor" on using their
products as evidence.

AFAIK, Tom is correct that the B&O round roof cars were neither duplicated nor
sold for revenue service to any other railroad. A badly damaged car may have
ended it's days as a shed on some other company's property, but I don't think
you can prototypically letter the model for any other railroad.

If you want to freelance that your line bought one, or repaired a wrecked car
and used in revenue service, you are naturally free to do so. A prototype
example of that is Rutland's sole single sheathed boxcar. It was Canadian
National car which fell off the Rutland causeway over Lake Champlain. The
Rutland paid for the car, but later recovered it, repaired it and used in
revenue service. S Helper offered their similar USRA SS boxcar painted for
this prototype.

ribsided boxcars to the WP and I think, one other railroad. If I recall
correctly a few cars were sold to the WP as a joint deal to service the
Amana Company in sending their appliances into Calif. I have never seen
any prototype photos or model photos for that matter.
