Raleigh When I first came to Cleveland in 1951 I worked for Precision Metalsmiths. Lost Wax in all ferrous and non ferrous metals. Sometime that year or next I was looking up die casting firms. Ran across a small firm. Well the owner showed me KEGS of Cleveland die casting for locomotives . I could have ALL the castings and the dies for about $10,000. Cleveland owed him $ 16,000. He gave me frames, cylinders and other parts. I went ther a number of times but had no money. Two years or so later he melted everything down and scrapped the molds.. Do not know what I did with the parts. I think I gave them to John Sudimac. I rember Jack as a little kid. He's a well oversized kid now.
