Exactly!  Art Armstrong wrote me a good note indicating the fasteners 
were pozidriv, not phillips, so that was real news.

Any tips on how to get to the disassembled stage? I think I can do a 
puzzle with a few hints. I'd hate to take apart things that were not 
necessary.

So short of getting out a big flat bladed screwdriver and trying to 
pry off the boiler, the safe way to do it is . . .
