Hi Bill, yes that is great, have one o those Kemtron track gages as well as several of my own 3point gages.
The Kemtron (later Cal-Scale) gage had the center hub so one could attach it to atrammel or thin long board tof layout and lay curved track. I like your adaptation. What do you use to check the trip pin clearance with? Once I get My web sit up and running, I plan on having a section devoted to various track and coupler height gages and home made contraptions...it's still in the idea stage now, would you allow me to include this photo of your version?
