I have contacted Kadee Quality Products Co. in White City, Oregon, on behalf of ALL S enthusiasts everywhere.
In talking to them, here is what they said: We already have these style (shelf/non-overide) couplers available in HO. It would not be a that difficult to get them produced in S, providing we can be convinced there is a market and ...priorities can be adjusted to reflect demand based on emails, letters phone calls etc. So that means ALL of you could influence Kadee to produce a coupler type that you want. Those that may personally not be interested in a shelf/non-overide style coupler, should still write-in requesting this, as it is a numbers game, the wheel that squeeks gets the grease, as many "old timers" know from friction bearing days. I can not emphasize enough how important your personal input is, to Kadee and getting these produced. I am providing you with a link to their site, their address, email and a phone number to call.
