When Bob NIcholson said he was using KADEE #5 couplers, and I affirmed him, I
had no idea that these rather mild remarks would unleash a torrent of pent-up
passion regarding KADEE #5s, 802s, and 808, and Sargeant. Hold on here! Does
it really matter what coupler people use? Isn't modeling supposed to be a
pleasant past time? If I were just starting, I would use Sargeants, but I'm
not just starting, and I'm not ditching the KADEEs for the Sargeants, authentic
looking as they are. I may check out that brown coupler, but that's as far as
it will go. I do not care at all for the spring centering system on the 802s.
