There will be 3 new S scale products released over the next 3 weeks; place
your paid orders now to ensure speedy delivery.

1. Southern Ry. 53' waffle side boxcar, a 1974 Pullman product. This is
the largest car I've produced so far, has more separate details than other
cars and will include my first trucks, a fully sprung Barber style with
rotating end caps (also sold separately; see below). Hundreds of these cars
are still running all over the country wearing (weathered) original the
SOUTHERN scheme, modified "stick" lettering and a couple versions of NS.
Price is $80 loaded, $70 less t/c. Available early October.

2.    Barber 100-ton roller bearing trucks:  a 1960-ish design; 36" brass
wheels with bright Nickel plated tires and injection molded ABS centers;
wheelsets are assembled and gauged; sideframes & bolsters are pressure-cast
urethane for maximum detail; Kadee springs complete the package. Wheelbase
is 5'10". This is an "industry first" because the end caps ROTATE with the
axle (and that 36" wheels are used). There are 2 styles (triangular and
hex) for folks modeling trucks that have had wheelsets swapped out over the
years. Pricing is $17.50 for a pair, $47.50 for 3 pairs. These are easy to
assemble kits that require only some patience, a little CA and paint.
Available first at the Hickory NC train show this Saturday (sold at the Old
Fort Model Trains table); available for shipment on 9/16.

3.    Barber "S-2-C" 70-ton roller bearing trucks:  a 1957-ish design with
33" wheels. All construction is the same as above but with a shorter
wheelbase (5'8") and narrower bolster because of a smaller "spring package",
just as on the prototype. Pricing is the same as the 100-ton trucks. This
item will be available mid-October.

My web site will be updated late next showing the waffle box pilot model;
the 100-ton trucks will be on-line about Tuesday or Wednesday. 70-ton
trucks will appear in mid/late October.

Place your order now to ensure getting YOUR kits early. I accept Visa/MC
(call with your CC info), checks, MO, and PayPal (you can order from my web
site). It's best to contact me before ordering so I can calculate the
proper shipping amount.
