Hi All, The Central Jersey S Scalers 27th Annual Fall Get Together http://www.nasg.org/cjss.html is in 1 week from TODAY. There are dealers, food and trains running all day long. If Saturday is not good for you, there is a much quieter and less attended session on Friday afternoon during set up and from about 9:30 until noon teardown on Sunday the 28th. No dealers or food are present at that time.
I am happy to report that the NCE DCC system has been significantly upgraded this year to 5 amp 2 power regions with EB-1 circuit breakers. Like last year we are running DCC only. We will have plenty of wireless and corded cabs as well. I will have the First Annual memorial running of Howie's Shay. http://www.lanestrains.com/Howie.htm It is not too late to preregister (which is highly recommended) if you do so NOW. A rush of walk ins in previous years has been an issue with ordering enough food with the caterer. An accurate head count for that is needed. I will be bringing a few S rarities like my new LANE Tower, PRR RS1 and a bashed A5. I hope to see some new faces there.
