Hi guys.
I have been reading with interest the running conversation about how to
solder it.
Actually, I specifically bought the SHS NS flex track because I didn't want
the hassle of having to maintain the track as much as brass track plus have
the flexibility of running HR or Scale using Tom's Turnouts.
Is the soldering you guys talking about ONLY to improve the smoothness of
the curve (can't this be done without soldering?) or principally for improving
connectivity which deteriorates over time at the joints (especially SHS
weathered joints?).
Don T: interested in weighing in on this?
Thanks,
Jack Riely
