Wow. I'm a genius. Pure and simple.
Remember me being all excited about getting a paint booth?
Well, that started a whole series of dominoes falling that will culminate in
a revamped computer/hobby room, including many new room furnishings.
In a nut shell, I am going to optimize:
* My workbench space and enviorn.
* Reduce the space my computer takes up and move its location to a
previously wasted area.
* Go on a spending spree and buy the tools I need to ease certain aspects of
modeling.
* Make tool, part and hobby supplies accessibility a priority.
* Organize the scattered messes into groups which will include expanding my
parts trays and shelving areas.
The goal is to reduce the "Hassle Factor" to absolute minimum so I can ENJOY
my hobbies again instead of constantly pilfering to find this part, that
tool... (did I lose it?)... I thought I had some .040" styrene... oh great,
I just knocked that box of parts over... etc, etc, etc.
This is not a small project. Though I have already started, I will not be
able to finish until I return from an out of town trip slated for this
weekend, meaning it will be next week before I can devote what free time I
have to it.
However, once finished, I think this will go a long ways toward helping me
to enjoy my modeling time instead of it being a frustration on account of
the disarray and inconvenience.
As for on topic content, this is causing me to become very excited about
some of the S scale projects I have sitting on shelves waiting for the above
issues to be resolved.
Boy... I sure are smart.
