Subject: Update on NYC Gondola Progress

Edward Loizeaux

April 15, 2008

Hi Ed,

NYC Mineral Red:

Ed, I really need to get going on some gondolas in the NYC Mineral
Red scheme. I plan on doing at least one with the steel-gray
interior, some NYC mineral red inside and outside, and the wood-side
versions (where I don't have to worry about the inside paint color).

I read your comments on NYC Mineral Red. I already match Floquil ATSF
Mineral Brown using Scalecoat paint for my ATSF color. It might be a
tad dark for NYC Mineral Red.

Another customer intends to match a SHS NYC Hopper car. Others might
want to do the same, so all their NYC cars match.

I want to keep moving forward quickly on the NYC color scheme. Any
ideas or comments you have will be most welcome.

Thank you Ed!

Sincerely,

John A Botten
